  Been there twice this week and I haven't had a bad experience. Actually met the owner and she was very nice and pleasant. She explained to me that since their opening its been nothing but busy busy busy. The staff is so nice that they stayed open 30 minutes after they were supposed to close so I could pick up my order. To me, their sauce has a basil taste to it but not overpowering, and their crust isn't doughy like the last place that was there. The prices are a little bit higher than your average Papa Johns but for the convenience and taste it's worth it in my book, even if you have to wait a little bit longer to get your pizza because they are so busy.

  La Retta's Pizzeria is our home town pizza place to go! It is by far the best pizza, calzones, wings, and subs to hit the island.
  They are better this year than last! While we miss the screen porch that Hurricane Matthew decided to take with him, it will be back so we can enjoy it once again. The wait gets longer as the tourist come in, but it still worth it! La Retta's is definitely a must try when you visit us in Edisto. You won't be disappointed!!
